CSCLP 2004: Joint Annual Workshop of ERCIM/CoLogNet on Constraint Solving and Constraint Logic Programming EPFL, Lausanne, Switzerland 23-25 June 2004 http://liawww.epfl.ch/Events/ercim04/ ************ Submission deadline: May 10, 2004 ************** Background This workshop is jointly organized as the ninth meeting of the ERCIM Working Group on Constraints, coordinated by Francois Fages, and the third annual workshop of the CoLogNET area on Constraint Logic Programming, coordinated by Francesca Rossi. Organizers * Boi Faltings, EPFL, Switzerland * Francois Fages, INRIA, France * Francesca Rossi, University of Padova, Italy * Adrian Petcu, EPFL, Switzerland Scope The workshop will cover all aspects of constraint and logic programming, including various foundational issues, implementation techniques, new applications as well as teaching issues. Particular emphasis is on assessing the current state of the art and identifying future directions. Call for paper submissions We would like to invite authors to submit papers on all aspects of research on constraint and logic programming. Standard research papers, position papers and work-in-progress papers describing current projects are all welcome. Submitted papers should be preferably up to 15 pages long and fit the Springer Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) style. Please submit an electronic version of your paper in the form of either a Postscript Level 2 or a PDF file to the ERCIM Workshop Submission software. Publication A printed volume of the workshop papers will be given to the participants, free of charge. Note that the papers are also available on the workshop website, under the program section. After the workshop, we will decide whether to publish a subset of papers in a Springer Lecture Notes on Artificial Intelligence (LNAI) volume, as was done for previous editions of this workshop. In this case, all the papers will have to go through a new peer-review and selection process. Further details about this possibility will be giveen during the workshop.
