The general framework of this project is the design of advanced vocal information servers. The concrete objective of ISIS is to study the feasibility of a prototype integrating several features such as:
- integration of enhanced syntactic information in the speech recognition process through the coupling with a probabilic parser;
- coupling between a probabilistic parser and a higher level syntactic/semantic analyser integrating robust parsing techniques;
- extraction of semantic informations for interaction with the database.
