The Java Constraint Library (JCL) is a JavaTM library that can be used as well in a Java enabled brower as in standalone Java applications. Its purpose is to provide application services related with binary Constraint-Satisfaction Problems (CSPs). JCL is divided into two parts :
JCL allows the development of portable applications and applets using the constraints mechanisms.
- A basic constraint library available on the network and
- A constraint shell build on the top of this library, allowing CSPs to be opened, saved, edited and solved.
